CV Snapshot:
State of California’s CalRecycle Program
The Challenge
A solution voter advocacy group wanted to help reduce the polarization towards The California Plastic Pollution Reduction Fee on single-use plastic packaging and foodware. Many groups supporting and disputing the pollution reduction fee were facing a stalemate.
Our Solution
Developed a geotargeted Consumer Voice (CV) Snapshot program across the State of California to uncover sentiment and perception variances. The dispositions of all parties were then shared with The California Department of Resources, Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle).
The Results
Our analysis targeted 12 regional cities across California and revealed unfiltered feedback towards the pollution reduction fee. The analysis also identified several key influencers on both sides of the legislation that could serve as advocates towards establishing common interests. Influencers included small businesses, corporations, and community leaders
